The vertical packing of bulk boxes in the pharmaceutical industry has always been a problem. Due to the narrow width of the paper box, the minimum width of the paper box is less than 25 mm, and the conventional sponge suction cup can not be well matched when grasping, which will result in that some holes of the sponge suction cup can not fully contact the paper box. And because of the softness of the sponge, the carton is easy to expand outwards.

AMILA finally suggested that customers use traditional rubber suction cups and mechanical clamps to achieve the best grasping effect. In this project, AMILA abandoned the traditional suction cup with self closing valve or throttle valve, because if there is a suction cup that does not suck into the carton during the grabbing process, due to the obvious drop in vacuum, it can detect the missing of the carton, thus eliminating visual inspection or subsequent weighing detection, and greatly saving the cost of customers. In the grabbing procedure, AMILA recommends the sequence of mechanical clamping first and then vacuum adsorption, so that the paper box and the paper box can be more tightly fastened by mechanical clamping. Although the size of the paper box after clamping may have errors, even if some suction cups are adsorbed in the middle of the paper box, a higher vacuum can be maintained.
